I am a Seattle based artist that is fascinated by the natural world. I attempt to inspire a moment of awe that makes you pause and reflect on your place in the universe. The feeling you get watching the big things like a great sunset, a thunderstorm, a sky full of stars... down to an orchid in full bloom, a single down feather, a pinecone, or ripples in a puddle. I believe it is a form of mindfulness and I try to hold that feeling while producing a piece.
My goal is to draw your attention and hold it long enough to give you a sense of awe. I strive to convey the wonder of the natural world and produce that feeling with as few marks and brush strokes as possible.
